Two of Europe’s top four goalscorers, including the winner of the Euro 2024 Golden Boot, have joined new clubs this summer.
It’s not only Premier League clubs making significant transfers; European teams are also making substantial investments Thập Cẩm TV in the market.

Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund)
Striker Serhou Guirassy has transferred to Borussia Dortmund for approximately £15m, thanks to a release clause in his Stuttgart contract.
Harry Kane’s prolific scoring for Bayern Munich—36 Bundesliga goals—has overshadowed Guirassy’s impressive goal tally for Stuttgart.
The Guinea international netted 28 goals in 28 Bundesliga matches (scoring once every 79 minutes), playing a key role in securing their Champions League spot.
He was the runner-up to Kane in the European Golden Shoe standings, with no player from any other top European league surpassing his goal tally.
Since 2012, only Kane, Robert Lewandowski, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have scored more goals in a Bundesliga season than Guirassy.
Before last season, Guirassy’s career in Germany and France’s top and second tiers had been relatively modest.
He was one of two players making the switch from Stuttgart to Dortmund this summer, with Germany defender Waldemar Anton also joining for around £19m.
Robin le Normand (Real Sociedad to Atletico Madrid)
One of the Spain squad’s Euro 2024 champions to switch clubs this summer, center-back Robin le Normand has transferred from Real Sociedad to Atletico Madrid.
The 27-year-old, originally from France, acquired Spanish citizenship in 2023 after spending several years at Real Sociedad since 2016.
He featured in six of Spain’s seven matches at Euro 2024, missing only the semi-final against France due to suspension.
Le Normand made 221 appearances for Real Sociedad, contributing to their Copa del Rey triumph in the 2019-20 season.
The transfer fee is believed to be around £29m.
Le Normand’s arrival follows the departure of Montenegrin centre-back Stefan Savic, who moved to Trabzonspor
Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa – Juventus)
Juventus have acquired Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz for £42.35m (50m euros).
The 26-year-old, who represented Brazil in this summer’s Copa America, made 204 appearances for Aston Villa and scored 22 goals.
Known for his exceptional corner-taking ability, Luiz has scored directly from several set pieces.
His partner, Switzerland international Alisha Lehmann, also joined Juventus this summer, moving from Aston Villa to the women’s team.
In addition, Juventus secured Nice and France midfielder Khephren Thuram for nearly £17m.
Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain – Real Madrid)
The standout transfer of the summer across the globe is Kylian Mbappé’s move from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old tallied 256 goals during his seven-year tenure at PSG, in addition to 27 goals for his debut senior club, Monaco. On the international stage, he has netted 48 goals, clinched the 2018 World Cup, and delivered a hat-trick in the 2022 final.
He claimed six consecutive Ligue 1 Golden Boots and ranked as the fourth highest scorer across all of Europe’s top leagues last season.
Although moving from Ligue 1 to La Liga represents a significant step up, Mbappe’s 48 Champions League goals demonstrate his ability to excel against top-tier competition as well.
BBC Sport reports that Mbappe will receive £12.8m (15m euros) annually, along with a £128m (150m euros) signing-on bonus spread over five years. Additionally, he will retain a share of his image rights.
He joins the club alongside Brazil striker Endrick, who recently turned 18, although that transfer was finalized in December 2022.
Georges Mikautadze (Metz – Lyon)
Georges Mikautadze’s reputation soared this summer as he earned a share of the Euro 2024 Golden Boot, joining five other players with three goals for Georgia.
Lyon finalized the signing of Mikautadze from Metz for an initial fee of 18.5 million euros (£15.6 million), bringing a whirlwind year to a close.
Ajax acquired Mikautadze from Metz for £13.5 million (16 million euros) on August 30 but immediately loaned him back to the French club. On January 4, they included an option to buy for £11 million (13 million euros), which Metz exercised on July 1. However, Metz sold him just 18 days later.
Mikautadze returns to his hometown club; born in Lyon to Georgian parents, he was part of their youth system until he was 15.
Lyon have been active this summer, adding Nottingham Forest’s Moussa Niakhate and Orel Mangala for £27m and £15m respectively, West Ham’s Said Benrahma for £11.9m, and Molenbeek’s Ernest Nuamah for £24m—each after loan spells. They’ve also brought in several other players for lower fees.
Álvaro Morata (Atletico Madrid – AC Milan)
Álvaro Morata has returned to Serie A after captaining Spain to victory at Euro 2024 this summer.
The 31-year-old, who previously enjoyed successful stints at Juventus, has joined AC Milan after the club triggered his reported £11m release clause from Atlético Madrid.
The striker heads to San Siro following the most prolific goal-scoring season of his career, having netted 21 goals for Atlético.
The veteran forward has also claimed silverware with Real Madrid and Chelsea.
Milan sought a new striker following the departure of veteran Olivier Giroud to Los Angeles FC.
Michael Olise has made a high-profile move from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich, managed by Vincent Kompany, signed Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise for £50m (60m euros)
The 22-year-old, born in London and now Bayern Munich’s fourth most expensive signing, is currently representing France at the Olympics.
Last season, despite an injury-plagued campaign, he scored 10 goals, with his best performances coming in the final months under Oliver Glasner.
In the 2022-23 season, he was named Crystal Palace’s Players’ Player of the Year and became the first player in the club’s history to record 10 or more assists in a Premier League campaign.
He will be looking to forge a strong connection with England striker Harry Kane and Germany forward Jamal Musiala, with whom he previously trained at Chelsea’s academy.
Joao Palhinha (Fulham – Bayern Munich)
Bayern Munich have been active in the transfer market this summer following their defeat in the Bundesliga title race to Bayer Leverkusen.
They have acquired Fulham and Portugal midfielder Joao Palhinha, 29, for an initial £42.3m, with an additional £4.2m in potential add-ons.
Palhinha nearly joined Bayern a year ago, undergoing a medical before the deal fell through due to Fulham’s inability to secure a replacement.
During his two seasons at Fulham, he made 79 appearances, scored eight goals, and accumulated 27 yellow cards.
